The minibus network has been established by members of the group who are passionate about improving comminity transport provision in Kirklees and improving the quality of community minibuses being operated locally.

The basic aim of the network is to:

• Bring together existing community groups who operate minibuses under the Section 19 Minibus Permit scheme

• Provide a platform that could provoke partnership working across operators

• Improve operating standards across operators

• Improve the holistic community based transport provision in Kirklees
