SHOPPER BUS SERVICE
Valleys Community Transport has provided a shopping service since 2005, and recently adapted that service during the Coronavirus outbreak in 2020 to include a shopping & delivery service.
The new shopping service will give a member the opportunity to submit a shopping list and to pay for the receipt amount over the phone as it is delivered, OR to be picked up by a minibus for a trip to a supermarket and then returned home afterwards with their shopping.
Step 1 - BOOK A SEAT on our minibus (or give us your shopping list) by calling 01484 860077 or 07952 668054 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or using the booking form below.
Step 2 - PAY in advance, to be covid secure. We will then reserve your place, and a driver will collect you on the date you booked
Step 3 - PROTECT OTHERS, you will need to wear a mask all the time you are on the minibus and also inside the shop, unless you are exempt.
Step 4 - ENJOY our driver will pick you up on the day of your booking
The service area covers HD2 and HD8. Call if you have any questions.
There is a charge for this service - you must pay on booking, however payments can be transferrable for this service.
The shopping service has infection control risk assessments applied to make sure both our teams and customers are safe from risk of infection.
Our staff have training to control risks - please work with them to ensure their and your own safety, by following their instructions.
