​Volunteering

Our charity shop is run entirely by our wonderful volunteers.
Our shifts are normally half a day, but we are flexible.
Roles include; sorting donations, shelf filling, stock rotation, till work, customer service and serving teas/coffees.

​Donating Goods
​​
We accept most household goods, that are in good sale-able condition.
We do not sell:
-
Fuel, Oils, etc
-
Wired in electricals (only with 13 amp plug so we can PAT test)
-
Toys without CE logo
-
Fabric furniture without fire label
Donations can be dropped off at our shop in Denby Dale.
​
Please do not leave donations outside the shop if it is closed.

​Work Placements
​​
We welcome people on placements via training bodies, award bodies, job seekers and schools/colleges.
Be prepared to work hard as part of our team, and we will give you support and references as part of your experience.

​Gift Aid

When donating goods as a UK tax payer, if you join our Gift Aid Scheme, the charity can claim back tax that has already been paid on items donated to the value of the resale. It does not affect your tax status but the reward from the government makes a massive difference to us.
