These are the terms and conditions of sale, hire, purchase or any other transaction for services or goods with the Denby Dale Centre.

Refunds

The Denby Dale Centre observes the statutory rights of people making purchases. Please also see Returns and Complaints section.

 

This is a guide to those making a contract with the organisations and then wishes to break that contract.  We endeavour to be fair and reasonable with all these judgements, and publish this guide on the internet for anyone entering into a contract with this organisation so all transactions are transparent.

Charity Shop

Training Centre

If pre-booked training is later cancelled, then the customer is liable to settle and pay the as per the following:

  • 1-13 days notice - 100% of purchase price (ie no refund)

  • 14-28 days notice - 50% of purchase price (ie 50% refund)

  • 29+ days notice - 0% of purchase price (ie full refund)

This is irrespective of whether the customer has paid in advance or not.  There will be a £10 admin charge to process any full refunds.

Minibus Hire

If pre-booked transport is later cancelled, then the customer is liable to settle and pay the as per the following:

  • 1-13 days notice - 100% of purchase price 

  • 14+ days notice - 0% of purchase price

This is irrespective of whether the customer has paid in advance or not. There will be a £10 admin charge to process any full refunds.

Deposit

A deposit payment is required to convert a Provisional Booking into a Confirmed Booking.  Provisional Bookings are held for 7 days, which will be released to others to book if no payment is made. 

​

Cancellation

Over 14 days - refund less £10 admin charge, or rescheduled booking.

Under 14 days - no refunds issued.

Training Centre

We do not take a deposit for any individual place on a training course.

​

We will expect a 50% deposit when booking a "closed" course, that is a course that is private and is not open to the public to purchase a place thereon.  This deposit is for the first six persons on that course. If additional people attend, a further payment, likely after the course, will be raised and the customer would be expected to settle that debt.  This deposit should be paid within 7 days of the booking enquiry and the balance should be paid at least 14 days prior to the training date.
